Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

Fjord Player is a video player for playlists and streaming accounts you provide yourself. It has no accounts of its own, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking of any kind.

What the app stores

Everything the app saves stays on your Apple TV, in the app’s own local storage:

None of this is transmitted to the developer or to any third party. It is removed when you delete the app.

Network connections the app makes

The app talks to exactly three kinds of servers:

  1. Your own IPTV provider — to load the playlists, TV guide and video streams you configured. What that provider logs is governed by the provider’s own privacy policy.
  2. The Movie Database (TMDb, themoviedb.org) — to fetch artwork and descriptions for movies and shows. Only the title of the item you open (e.g. a show name) is sent; nothing identifies you personally. See TMDb’s privacy policy at themoviedb.org/privacy-policy.
  3. TMDb’s image server (image.tmdb.org) — to download the artwork itself.

There are no other connections. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.

Data collection summary (App Store label)

Data not collected. The developer does not collect any data from this app.

Your content, your responsibility

Fjord Player ships with no channels, movies or shows. It only plays content from sources you add yourself. You are responsible for having the right to view the content your playlists provide.
